Counselling creates time and space for you to explore what’s troubling you in a confidential, non-judgmental, supportive relationship. Clients often say counselling has helped them to gain new perspective and delve deeper into who they are and why they do what they do. This has enabled them to understand themselves, their relationships and their situations better, so that they can make new choices, and cope better with current and future difficulties.
Perhaps you are seeking relief from difficult feelings and thoughts, feeling as if you are stuck in a rut, or perhaps you are seeking to grow in new ways to enhance your life – counselling is a place to begin.
Your first session
The first session gives us the opportunity to find out what has brought you to therapy and for you to ask any questions. I will also include time to cover all the necessary practical details, so that you can feel at ease with the process. After this we will continue with regular sessions – click here for further details and costs.
